There are two options to study in the UK if you attended a polytechnic and obtained an OND or HND certificate.
Option 1: For entry onto Year 1: Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in an appropriate subject with 2.8/4.0 or 3.5/5.0 as a minimum is required. This means you will study for a minimum of 3 years in the UK.
Option 2: Advanced entry to undergraduate:
- You may be considered for the second year of an undergraduate degree if you have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a grade-point average of 2.0/4.0 or 2.5/5.0 minimum. This means you will study for a minimum of 2 years in the UK.
- You may be considered for the third (final) year of an undergraduate degree if you have a Higher National Diploma with a grade-point average of 2.8/4.0 or 3.5/5.0 minimum.
- You may be considered for the second year of an undergraduate degree if you have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a grade-point average of 2.0/4.0 or 2.5/5.0 minimum. This means you will study for a minimum of 1 year in the UK.
After your graduation you can:
- Apply for the master’s program immediately to the same or a different school or
- Apply for 2 years Post Study Work (PSW) Visa to seek a sponsored job, gain work experience or save money to proceed with your career or return home or
- Apply for a sponsored job/Skilled work visa
